You Are You. I Am Me. We Are Not the Same.

One phrase has stayed with me throughout my career:

"You are you. I am me. We are not the same."

To me, it's never been about comparison.

It's about clarity.

We're all different.

Different values.

Different priorities.

Different ways of showing up in the world.

And that's a good thing.

But one lesson I've learned is that the people you choose to surround yourself with become part of your personal brand.

Whether we realize it or not, there is an invisible line connecting us.

People notice who we spend time with.

Who we collaborate with.

Who we publicly support.

And they naturally make assumptions.

That's why I've become incredibly intentional about the relationships I build.

Not because I need everyone to think like I do.

But because I value alignment.

I want to surround myself with people who work hard.

Who lead with integrity.

Who keep their word.

Who continue growing.

Not because they're perfect.

Because they care.

Those kinds of relationships elevate everyone involved.

I've found that the people closest to us influence more than our calendar.

They influence our perspective.

Our habits.

Our expectations.

Our standards.

That's why I believe one of the most important decisions we make isn't just what we build.

It's who we build it with.
